Where Integrations

Enhance integrations page

What this is for

  • See available platform integrations.
  • Connect an approved service.
  • Understand the scope of data and permissions involved.

Before you start

  • Confirm the approved external service, account owner and minimum permissions needed.
  • Use a dedicated service account when the provider supports one.

Take care

An integration may be able to read or change customer data. Confirm the provider, account and permission scope before connecting it.

Steps

  1. 1

Open Integrations and choose the service required by the operating process.

  2. 2

Read the connection requirements and permission scope.

  3. 3

Use a dedicated service account where the provider supports one.

  4. 4

Authenticate and save the connection without copying secrets into notes or tickets.

  5. 5

Run a safe test and confirm the expected data or action.

  6. 6

Remove stale connections when the service or responsible owner changes.

Check it worked

  • Integrations shows a connected or healthy status after authentication.
  • A harmless test completes in the intended external account, and disconnecting a retired integration removes access.
