Enhance website overview

What this is for

  • Use the left navigation for organisation-wide areas.
  • Use website tabs for files, databases, domains, analytics, backups and security.
  • Confirm the breadcrumb and domain before changing a setting.

Before you start

  • Decide whether you need an account-wide page such as Customers or a setting for one website.
  • Keep the website or customer name available so you can confirm the breadcrumb.

Steps

    Use the left navigation to open Websites, Emails, Logs, Packages, Users or Integrations.

  2. 2

    Select a website to open its workspace.

  3. 3

    Use the top website tabs to move between site-specific tools.

  4. 4

    Open Advanced for optimisation, FTP and developer settings.

  5. 5

    Check the domain shown in the breadcrumb before saving a change.

Check it worked

  • The page heading and breadcrumb name the resource you intended to open.
  • Returning to Websites or Customers brings you back to the correct list.

Tip

If you are unsure where you are, read the breadcrumb from left to right. It should name the website or customer before the feature you are changing.

What the controls do

Control What it means
