Configure platform domains and webmail
Set the customer control-panel, phpMyAdmin and staging domains, and decide how customers reach webmail.

What this is for
- Publish branded entry points for control-panel and database access.
- Choose a staging-domain suffix.
- Use local or global webmail deliberately.
Before you start
- Choose hostnames you control for the panel, phpMyAdmin, staging and optional global webmail.
- Create or plan the required DNS records before directing customers to the new names.
Take care
DNS and certificates must be ready before customers are directed to a new platform hostname.
Steps

Plan the required hostnames and confirm you control their DNS.

Set the Control panel domain and point it to the platform as instructed.

Set the phpMyAdmin domain for customer database administration.

Set the staging domain and delegate its nameservers to the hosting cluster.

Keep per-domain webmail for distributed performance, or open Advanced only when one global webmail login is required.

Save and test DNS, TLS certificates, customer login, phpMyAdmin and webmail from outside the network.
Check it worked
- Each hostname resolves, opens with a trusted certificate and reaches the correct service.
- A demo customer can sign in to the panel, phpMyAdmin and the chosen webmail route.
What the controls do

| Control panel domain | The hostname customers visit to sign in to Enhance. |
| phpMyAdmin domain | The hostname used for browser-based database administration. |
| Staging domain | The suffix automatically used for customer staging websites. |
| Global webmail | A shared login endpoint that proxies to the server hosting each mailbox. |
