Where Customers โ†’ customer โ†’ Users

Enhance customer user list and Add user control

What this is for

  • See who can access a customer organisation.
  • Add an individual user without sharing credentials.
  • Keep customer access accurate when responsibilities change.

Before you start

  • Confirm the person's identity, email address and relationship to the customer.
  • Search the customer Users tab before adding anyone.

Take care

Always verify the organisation and recipient before inviting a user. Use individual accounts rather than shared logins.

Steps

  1. 1

Open Customers, select the correct organisation and choose Users.

  2. 2

Search the existing list by name or email before creating a duplicate account.

  3. 3

Select Add user and enter the approved person's details.

  4. 4

Assign only the access required for that person's role, then save or send the invitation.

  5. 5

Confirm that the user can access the intended organisation and no unrelated customer data.

  6. 6

Review the list after staff or supplier changes and remove access that is no longer needed.

Check it worked

  • The person appears once under the correct customer with the intended role.
  • They can reach that organisation but cannot access unrelated customer accounts.
