- Confirm the exact website, the last known good time and whether you need a full or partial restore.
- Where possible, back up the current broken state in case it contains data you later need.

Steps

Confirm the incident, desired recovery time and exact website.

Where possible, take a current backup before restoring an older state.

Open the backup menu and choose Restore.

Choose a full restore or custom restore and select the required files or data.

Review the overwrite impact and start the restore.

Test the website, WordPress Admin, forms, databases, scheduled tasks and email after completion.
Check it worked
- The restore reports completion rather than pending or failed.
- Test public pages, WordPress Admin, forms, recent database content, scheduled jobs and email affected by the incident.
What the controls do
