Change language, privacy and notification placement
Personalise the interface while saving each section separately.
Where Tools → Preferences → Account Preferences / Change Language
Before you start
- Choose a language you can navigate or keep the route back to the setting handy.
- Read privacy choices rather than assuming consent is required to use hosting.
Steps
-
1
Open Account Preferences and locate the section you want to change.
-
2
Under System Notifications, select where interface success/error messages should appear and use the adjacent Save Changes button. This changes message placement, not email delivery.
-
3
After saving, review the translated interface and return to the same preference if needed. Do not assume changing language changes the website’s language or its content.
-
4
Under Consent and Privacy, review Allow tracking and the linked policy. Save Changes in this section records that choice; it is separate from contact alerts.
Account Preferences combines privacy, contact and interface sections. -
5
For the interface language, use the Change Language section or open the separate Change Language tool. Select your preferred language and click the displayed Change/save action.
The separate language tool changes cPanel’s interface language.
Check it worked
- The intended interface preference persists after navigating away and back.
- Important success/error notifications remain visible.
