Find backups in Backuply
Use the separate Backuply tool when your hosting plan provides its recovery points.
Where Tools → Software → Backuply
Before you start
- Confirm Backuply is the backup system your plan uses; it is separate from JetBackup and cPanel Backup.
- Record the current state before any restore and choose a suitable maintenance window.
Steps
-
1
Open Backuply and inspect its dashboard and backup count.
-
2
If records exist, inspect their dates and included data before selecting a recovery point. Do not assume all components share the same timestamp.
-
3
Use the offered restore or download workflow only after reviewing its scope. A restore changes hosting data; a download prepares a separate copy.
-
4
Use View Downloads for prepared files and Logs to inspect task results. If no backups exist, ask support about schedule, retention and first-backup timing.
-
5
Choose Full Backups, Home Directory, Database, Database Users, Email Accounts, Domains, Cron Jobs or FTP Accounts according to the data you need.
Backuply has its own recovery categories, downloads and logs.
Check it worked
- Confirm a task completed successfully in its results/logs.
- Test the affected site or mailbox after any restore.
