Create an email address

Create a mailbox such as [email protected] and choose its storage allowance.

Where Tools → Email → Email Accounts → Create

Before you start

Add the domain first. Outside mail needs correct public MX records and Email Routing.
Prepare a strong unique password and a secure way to give the owner their login details.

Open Email Accounts and click Create above the list. The System account is not a normal email address.

Choose the domain if a selector appears. Enter only the part before @ in Username, such as hello, and check the domain beside it.

Under Optional Settings, click Edit Settings. Set Storage Space and check its MB/GB unit. Unlimited still uses your hosting account’s overall allowance.

Click Create once and wait for success. If a field is rejected, correct the highlighted value. Return to the list to find the new mailbox.

Select Set password now and enter a strong password, or Send login link to alternate email address and enter an address the owner can already access. Do not invite the mailbox you are still creating.

Enter the mailbox name and select its password or invitation method.

Review Automatically Create Folders for Plus Addressing, which controls folders for addresses such as [email protected]. Decide whether to send the welcome email with mail-client instructions.

Edit Settings expands the storage, plus-addressing and welcome-email choices.

Check the address, quota and restrictions in the list.
Use Check Email and test both incoming and outgoing mail with an external mailbox.
