Start here: your cPanel guide library

A separate cPanel-only library, with real screenshots, plain-language instructions and a coverage index for every tool shown in this account.

Where Your hosting provider’s trusted login → cPanel → Tools

Before you start

  • Use the secure login supplied by your hosting provider. A saved address containing a temporary session identifier is not a permanent login link.
  • Replace the domain, usernames and paths shown in the screenshots with your own.

Steps

  1. 1

Choose a topic in this guide library, or use Search guides. Each article tells you where to go, what to prepare, what to click and how to check the result.

  2. 2

Click any screenshot to enlarge it. Some forms are long: scroll down in the actual control panel to find the action shown. A dropdown arrow, an Edit button and a three-dot menu are not interchangeable.

  3. 3

Read Take care before actions that overwrite data, grant access or change a live service. Save a copy of old values and make an appropriate backup before proceeding.

  4. 4

Use the feature coverage index below to find a guide for each of the 86 Tools entries observed in this account. Features grouped into one article remain individually listed in the index.

  5. 5

Open Tools in cPanel to see the available features. Use Search Tools at the top to find an exact name such as Zone Editor, Email Accounts or SSL/TLS Certificates.

A real cPanel screen: use Tools or Search Tools to move between features.

Check it worked

  • You have selected a cPanel guide, not an Enhance guide; these platforms use different controls.
  • For account-specific values, unavailable features or an uncertain destructive confirmation, contact your hosting support team before continuing.

What the controls do

Control What it means

Domain A website/mail name such as example.com. Registering it, hosting it and managing its DNS are separate jobs.
Document root The folder from which a domain’s website files are served.
Scope Which domain, folder, mailbox or whole account an action affects.
